Everton v Brighton predicted XI: Sean Dyche makes Ashley Young call
Sean Dyche will desperately be hoping that Everton return to winning ways and have a tough away fixture v Brighton on Saturday, 24 February.
The Toffees side struggled against Crystal Palace on Monday, 19 February, and needed a late Amadou Onana goal to make it 1-1.
Dyche knows that if he is to turn things around, he cannot be picking the same teams and needs to vary things slightly.
Two changes on the cards for Everton
Onana was lauded for his “incredible” heroics by Michael Owen and it’s hard to keep him out of the playing eleven.
When fit, he is the best midfielder in this Toffees side and he’s expected to come into the side for Idrissa Gueye.
According to Sofascore, he had a 33 per cent accuracy with his long passes v Palace and lost half of his attempted aerial duels.
Onana, on the other hand, showed Dominic Calvert-Lewin how to head a ball home and it makes sense to bring him into the side.
Jack Harrison to return to the playing XI
Ashley Young is 38 and his days of playing as a winger ended at least half a decade ago.
He’s had his flaws at full-back as well, but at least he manages to put in a shift there.
With Ben Godfrey doing decently at right-back, there is no need for Young to even return to that role any more.
However, Dyche must be ruthless and axe the former Manchester United and Aston Villa player.

Jack Harrison is more agile, quicker, offers a goal threat and is capable of playing as a right winger far better than Young.
