Everton: ‘Overwhelming evidence’ against 777 Partners takeover as Goodison Park agenda slammed

There is “overwhelming evidence” against a takeover of Everton by 777 Partners, according to The Esk.

The US investment firm agreed to take over the Goodison Park club from Farhad Moshiri earlier this season.

But their approval from the Premier League is still pending, with 777 hopes fading that they will get an answer this month.

“Any objective analysis of 777 must raise huge concerns over their suitability to be our new owners,” The Esk wrote on X.

“To not express such concerns when confronted with the overwhelming evidence can only draw the conclusion that this stance is driven by an agenda that suits (& benefits in the short term at least) interests that outweigh the greater interests of the club & fanbase.”

Will the Everton and 777 Partners deal go through?

The Goodison Park faithful have not been pleased at all with Moshiri’s running of the club in recent years, with plenty of protests having taken place regarding the owner.

Fans were then given great news late last year when the US investment firm arrived on the scene, but there has been little development on the completion of their takeover since then.

It does remain pending, with fans in the dark about what decision the Premier League will take with 777 and their grand plans with the Toffees.

All manager Sean Dyche and his players can do is focus on getting the club up the league standings, with Everton struggling in the bottom half of the table.

New ownership and subsequently new money would undoubtedly help their cause, but it may be too late for the Toffees.

They sit 17th in the Premier League table, with another points deduction potentially going their way after their 10-point sanction earlier this season.

In other Everton news, 777 Partners should be deemed unsuitable for the Toffees as a “disgrace” emerges in Europe.
