Everton: Timeline for when Toffees will learn verdict on second PSR charge shared
Everton are set to learn the outcome of their second Profit and Sustainability charge next mont, according to a report in the Daily Mirror.
The second charge is for an alleged breach of profitability and sustainability rules last season as they managed to avoid relegation to the Championship under Sean Dyche.
The outcome is expected to be known next month according to the Daily Mirror’s print edition (pg 57, 1 March). The Toffees are sat in 15th in the table after a 10-point deduction handed out after a first charge was reduced to six on appeal this week.
They are five points above the relegation zone with 12 matches of the season left to play. Next up is a home clash against West Ham.
Will Everton lose more points in the Premier League?
If Everton are to have another points deduction, they need to know as soon as possible along with the teams they are battling relegation with like Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Luton Town.
Dyche’s side need to know where they stand and how many points they need as they prepare for the run-in.
The whole process is taking too long and needs to speed up as it is concerning people’s lives and jobs.

The Toffees will be relieved that they managed to claw some points back last week and that certainly boost their chances of avoiding relegation to the Football League. However, the second charge is an additional unwelcome distraction.
Everton have the players to get themselves away from trouble and would be comfortable in mid-table if they didn’t have any deduction in the first place. Dropping into the second tier would be unthinkable for a club of their size and would have some significant financial implications.
