Everton: Premier League given ultimatum after new points deduction decision

Everton fans and players are not in a good situation regarding the second Premier League financial charge.

That is according to former Goodison Park scout Bryan King, with the Toffees awaiting to hear their punishment for financial breaches.

The Merseyside outfit were docked 10 points in a first charge earlier this season, but that sanction has since been reduced to six points.

Speaking to Goodison News, King said: “We don’t know what the next one is, we don’t know whether they’ve been proven guilty or not.

“So that’s going to be interesting to see. It’s not a good situation for the supporters and the club, or the players. Either put them down for what they’ve done, or stop messing around.”

Everton in the dark about second Premier League charge?

Everyone connected with the Goodison Park club may have rejoiced at the recent verdict from the Premier League to cut the points deduction by four points.

But they are not in the clear yet given how there is a second charge hanging over their heads, with Nottingham Forest also involved in the second case of financial breaches.
