Everton and Nottingham Forest relegation admission made by Tim Sherwood
Tim Sherwood believes that Bournemouth beating Luton Town 4-3 was an incredible result for Everton and Nottingham Forest.
Luton held a 3-0 lead at half-time on 13 March before the Cherries came out all guns blazing in the second half, scoring four goals without response.
Had Luton won it, they would’ve been ahead of Forest and just a point behind the Toffees.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, Sherwood said (13 March, 9:33pm): “As soon as Solanke scored that brilliant goal, Nuno and Dyche would’ve got their remotes out. This is an incredible result for Everton and Nottingham Forest.”
Massive relief for Dyche and Everton
Sean Dyche and Nuno Espirito Santo would have been deeply invested in the outcome of the Bournemouth vs. Luton clash.
With Luton initially holding a commanding 3-0 lead, Dyche and Nuno would have likely feared the implications of a potential Luton victory.
Given that both Everton and Forest are embroiled in a relegation battle, any points dropped by their direct rivals could significantly impact their own survival hopes.
As Bournemouth staged a remarkable comeback to win 4-3, Dyche and Nuno would have felt a wave of relief, knowing that Luton’s defeat would keep them firmly entrenched in the relegation zone.
This result offers both sides a glimmer of hope, potentially boosting morale and providing a crucial psychological advantage in the fight against relegation.

However, with the relegation battle intensifying, Dyche and Nuno are well aware that every match remains pivotal, and they must continue to strive for positive results to secure their respective teams’ top-flight status.
