Everton attacker Arnaut Danjuma injury news shared by Doctor v Bournemouth
Everton attacker Arnaut Danjuma may not be ready to start games until April due to an ankle injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that returns from such setbacks are hard to predict due to the heavy demand and force of ankles in the game.
It has been reported that the Dutchman could be in contention v Bournemouth on 30 March, and if that is to be the case, he may be in line to return to training imminently.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Danjuma:
“It’s an ankle injury and these can be tough to give timelines on because they come under such heavy demand and force in football.
“I imagine he will get multiple bounce games but it’s always hard to say when a player may return to 100 per cent because that would mean he’s fully in rhythm and confidence, as well as fitness.
“He should be back in training imminently if he is to return by the end of the month.
“Might take him a bit longer to be ready to start games regularly.“
Danjuma has barely featured for Everton this season
The 27-year-old has not been in action for the Toffees since the end of January as he’s battling his injury.
He was linked with the exit door in the window but ended up staying put at Goodison Park, at least until the end of the season.

The Netherlands international has made only five Premier League appearances all season and has found the back of the net once.
In other Everton news, there is pressure mounting as the Toffees’ financial future is in doubt amid a fresh takeover twist.
