Everton: Harry Tyrer destined for bright future as March footage emerges

Everton academy prospect Harry Tyrer, who is on loan at Chesterfield, made incredible saves against AFC Fylde on 9 March.

The 22-year-old’s side ended up winning the game 4-1, but his penalty stop to deny Danny Ormerod’s penalty and the follow-up effort from the striker, made headlines.

Before the penalty, he also made a stunning stop to deny Nick Haughton’s effort from finding the back of the net.

Chesterfield took to Twitter to share the footage.

Tyrer is Everton through and through

Tyrer’s journey from Everton’s academy to loan spells at clubs like Chester and Chesterfield demonstrates his ambition and determination to break into the first team.

Starting at the Toffees’ academy at the age of seven, Tyrer has steadily progressed through the ranks, earning himself professional contracts and first-team training opportunities.

His loan spells have provided valuable experience, allowing him to showcase his talents in competitive environments outside of Merseyside.

Making headlines with incredible saves and standout performances, such as his recent penalty stop against AFC Fylde, highlights Tyrer’s potential and ability to perform under pressure.

Sean Dyche will surely be impressed

By excelling on loan, Tyrer not only gains invaluable playing time but also catches the attention of Everton’s coaching staff, proving his readiness for senior football.

Continued dedication, consistent performances, and seizing opportunities to shine will position Tyrer favourably for a future role in the senior side.

Sean Dyche, who will be in the loop about the performances of the loan players, would’ve been left impressed by this display.
