Everton join transfer race for Bologna star Lewis Ferguson as Aston Villa news emerges
Everton have joined the transfer race to sign Bologna sensation Lewis Ferguson but face tough competition ahead of the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport.
The online source reported [19 March] that the Toffees are not the only Premier League outfit to send scouts to Italy, with Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brentford and Fulham keeping tabs on the 24-year-old, whose form has “turned the heads of clubs from around Europe”.
It is understood that the former Aberdeen midfielder would only contemplate a move to England if it were right for his career, with the main ambition of achieving Champions League qualification with Bologna.
