Everton former employee sends message to Jamie Carragher as Bramley-Moore Dock news emerges
Everton former scout Bryan King has wished Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher well after he bought two hospitality packages ahead of the club’s new stadium opening.
The ex-Liverpool defender has snapped up the packages as the Toffees prepare to leave Goodison Park for Bramley-Moore Dock.
New images recently emerged of the venue, with Liverpool Echo journalist Joe Thomas sharing footage of the new stadium.
Speaking to Goodison News, King said: “He’s an Everton supporter. He’s been an Everton supporter since he was a kid. He can afford it, good luck to him, he’s on a lot of money with Sky.
“Think of the people in Liverpool who are maybe out of work, or who have jobs which don’t generate the kind of money that he’s earning.
“Good luck to him, he’s in a good job. I don’t know whether he’s doing a good job, but he’s certainly in a privileged job, and that privileged job pays a lot of money, and I can’t believe that buying two hospitality packages is going to make a hole in his wages.
“This is the way football clubs are trying to accommodate attending football matches, but it’s still very expensive. Even the Championship clubs are expensive.”
Are Everton fans in for a shock when they move to Bramley-Moore Dock?
It has been a frustrating time for Toffees fans lately, with several issues on and off the pitch causing a lot of anger in recent years.
But one positive has been the impending move to the new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, which should bring the Merseyside club to a whole other level, and importantly up to speed with many of their Premier League rivals.

It will, however, be a sad day when the Goodison Park exit is complete, while fans may just get a massive shock when they learn of the expected high prices associated with the new stadium.
