Everton: Ian Wright shares Nottingham Forest and Luton Town relegation prediction
Ian Wright backs Everton to avoid the drop with Nottingham Forest and Luton Town to fight it out for 17th.
Despite the Toffees being handed a further two-point deduction, taking their total to eight for the season, Wright fancies Sean Dyche to keep his side up and also backs Luton to avoid the drop.
He was also impressed with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s display in the 1-0 win v Burnley.
Speaking on the Kelly and Wrighty Show, Wright said (8 April, 2:57pm): “Calvert-Lewin did look particularly sharp. You’d like to think those home games will save them. If I’m being totally honest, I think Luton can get out. Forest are in there. One of them two are going to get out.
“I think the third team might be Forest. Luton are going to save themselves.”
Everton are expected to avoid relegation
Despite Everton’s recent struggles and the additional two-point deduction, they remain favourites for 16th place.
Calvert-Lewin, whose recent form has been promising, suggests they have the firepower to secure crucial points in upcoming matches.
Additionally, their upcoming fixtures could provide opportunities to accumulate points and climb up the table.
Moreover, the experience of manager Sean Dyche in navigating relegation battles, demonstrated during his tenure at Burnley, instils confidence that he can steer the Toffees to safety.
Dyche’s tactical acumen and ability to motivate players in challenging circumstances are valuable assets in a relegation fight.

With him at the helm, there is every bit of belief that they’ll manage to navigate their way out of these messy times.
