Everton: Sean Dyche sack verdict emerges after one win in 15 Premier League games

Richard Buxton has delivered a sack verdict on Sean Dyche with Everton winning only one of their last 15 games.

The football journalist, who’s also written a book about Farhad Moshiri and everything that’s wrong behind the scenes at the club, brings up the financial capability of the Toffees being able to afford to part ways with him.

However, he feels that fans are fully entitled to have the view that they want the former Burnley manager gone.

He wrote on Twitter: “Any Evertonians calling for Sean Dyche to be sacked after just one win in 15 Premier League games are entirely within their rights. Whether the club has the structural or financial capability to do so is a different matter but the fanbase more than deserve to have their say on it.”

Sean Dyche is definitely fighting the sack at Everton

Dyche’s tenure at Goodison Park has been challenging, to say the least, with the team winning only one of their last 15 Premier League games.

Despite this, the situation is not entirely bleak for Dyche and the Toffees.

The club’s financial and structural capabilities are crucial factors in determining whether a managerial change is feasible.

However, it is worth considering how Dyche can improve the team’s performance and avoid relegation.

Dyche’s experience at Burnley, where he achieved two promotions and a seventh-place finish in the Premier League, showcases his ability to manage teams in difficult situations.

By focusing on the team’s defensive organisation and direct attacking play, he could make the most of the resources at his disposal but he has to galvanise this side looking bereft of confidence.

A renewed focus on team cohesion, tactical flexibility and a clear vision for the future might be the key to transforming Everton’s fortunes on the pitch.
