Everton: Doctor sends Dele Alli message amid recent injury admission
Everton attacker Dele Alli’s rehab from a long-term injury appears to be on track, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert has reacted to his comments on the recent Monday Night Football on Sky Sports where he issued an update on his future.
The 27-year-old admits to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel after undergoing rehab that has kept him out of the entire season.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Alli:
“There were fears he was going to retire, as per his own admission in an interview last year.
“Recently, he appeared on Sky Sports and it appears that his rehab is on track and he’s closing in on a return to full training after a long-term injury setback.
“My advice to him would be to simply focus on himself – both mentally and physically – and worry about the day to day.
“He cannot control the external factors, the only thing he can control is how he’s attacking his recovery.
“Focus on that process and see where it goes.“
Alli may have played last Everton game
The interview also touches upon Alli’s future at Everton and although he expresses optimism about his recovery and eagerness to return to the pitch, his injury adds uncertainty to his future with the team.
Alli’s mental strength and resilience will be crucial in navigating these challenges and potentially finding a new path in his career.

However, with his deal running out in the summer, there’s a realistic possibility that he’s played his final game at Goodison Park.
