Esk reacts as Farhad Moshiri responds to fans amid 777 Partners takeover chaos

The Esk has reacted as Farhad Moshiri responds to an invitation to meet Everton fans nine weeks after he was asked about it.

The Toffees owner agreed to meet the club’s fan advisory board in the third week of May.

It has thus been footed that even he does not expect the 777 Partners takeover to go ahead within the timetable suggested.

The Esk wrote on Twitter: “Not untypically an appalling lack of respect for fans generally & for the engagement body & process the club has lauded as best practice around the Premier League.

“The 3rd week of May is also an acknowledgement that even Moshiri recognises the 777 takeover will not complete within the timetable suggested in the extension granted in mid-April. Otherwise why would he meet?”

Everton fans are frustrated with Farhad Moshiri and 777 Partners

Moshiri’s delay in meeting the fans suggests a lack of urgency and respect for the concerns of the club’s supporters.

The scheduled meeting in the third week of May indicates that Moshiri may not expect the 777 Partners takeover to proceed within the proposed timeline, as he would likely prioritise closing the deal before engaging with fans if the takeover was imminent.

The 777 Partners need to get their act together or step aside.

Their prolonged takeover process has contributed to a sense of uncertainty and instability at Everton, with fans expressing frustration over the lack of transparency and progress.

This delay has also hindered the club’s ability to plan for the future, including addressing financial issues and investing in the squad.

Moreover, the ongoing delay could potentially harm the club’s reputation and relationship with its supporters.

Fans are understandably concerned about the future of their beloved club, and the lack of clear communication and decisive action from 777 Partners only exacerbates these worries.

If the takeover is not progressing as expected, it may be in the best interest of all parties for 777 Partners to step aside, allowing for a more transparent and efficient process to take place.
