Farhad Moshiri slammed by Everton insider after recent takeover update at Goodison Park
Bryan King has slammed Farhad Moshiri for his poor running of Everton following an update on the 68-year-old’s takeover stance.
The ex-Everton scout can’t understand how a takeover at Goodison Park has not yet been completed.
It comes after representatives of Moshiri revealed via the Liverpool Echo (23 April) that the Everton owner was still “working towards completion with 777”.
And King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – believes Everton supporters deserve more.
“Ever since Moshiri has been involved, the club has had problems,” King said.
“Everton has been poorly run and what was once a people’s club has now become a plaything for the rich.
“What kind of message is that to the people who fill Goodison Park every other week, the people who are 100 per cent behind the club?
“I just don’t understand how after two years, they are still no closer to a takeover. There has been a lot of talk, but nothing has materialised.
“They are no clearer now on the future of the club than they were when it all started.”
Farhad Moshiri unlikely to be a popular man among Everton supporters at Goodison Park
Goodison Park has been more of a circus than a football stadium in recent years.
While on-field performances haven’t helped during much of that time, it is hard to blame Sean Dyche and the players considering all the off-field distractions surrounding them.
They have proven recently that the quality is there, and with their Premier League status now secure, supporters can hopefully enjoy a more relaxed finish to the campaign.

But they will want to see more next season than yet another relegation dogfight, and for that to happen, things need to be resolved in the boardroom.
In other Everton news, King has called for an overhaul of VAR after “ridiculous” recent events.
