Sean Dyche hailed by Jeff Stelling as Everton secure Premier League survival v Brentford

Jeff Stelling has hailed the job done by Sean Dyche as Everton secured their Premier League survival for another season after a 1-0 win against Brentford at Goodison Park.

That victory came off the back of consecutive home victories and clean sheets against Burnley, Nottingham Forest and Liverpool as the club dragged themselves to safety.

Stelling insisted that Dyche has done an “unbelievable” job since arriving on Merseyside and explained that everybody will already know how good of a job he has done.

Speaking live on talkSPORT [29 April, 07:03], Stelling shared: “He has done, well we all know, he has done an unbelievable job. Well done to Everton and well done to Sean Dyche as well.”

Dyche deserves all the praise in the world for the way he has guided Everton to safety despite unprecedented circumstances off the pitch which have seen the club deducted eight points as a result of financial breaches.

These points deductions, alongside massive uncertainty surrounding the ongoing takeover process, have been a dark cloud looming over Goodison Park all season, with Dyche the man to try to navigate the frenzy.

Before the recent run of form which has seen the Toffees win three games in a row against Nottingham Forest, Liverpool and Brentford, Dyche had come under sack pressure after a run of poor form and a long run without a win.

However, with the praise from Stelling echoing that of Alan Shearer previously, there are surely no more doubts about who the right man is to lead the club going forward and hopefully help progress beyond a relegation scrap next season.
