Everton buyers 777 Partners suffer yet another financial burden in takeover twist – Goodison insider

Bryan King has questioned whether or not 777 Partners can still afford to buy Everton.

The ex-Everton scout doesn’t understand why the American investment firm have taken so long to complete a takeover at Goodison Park.

It comes after a report by The Independent on Tuesday (30 April) revealed that Bonza, an Australian budget airline owned by 777, had fallen into administration.

And King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – has suggested that perhaps 777 don’t have the money required to complete a takeover of Everton.

“Bonza going into administration will be yet another financial burden on 777,” King said.

“A straight takeover is a straight takeover, 777 know the cost of the club, so why are they not the new owners of Everton Football Club?”

“Is it because they haven’t got the money or perhaps the people to handle it? This would be their biggest investment in terms of the football clubs they own.

“It is going to be very interesting once the season ends to see what is going to happen at Goodison Park.”

Will 777 Partners find a way to complete the takeover of Everton?

Confidence in 777 among supporters at Goodison Park is likely to be very low at the moment.

With the situation the Toffees find themselves in, they will take any investment they can get.

But after this recent update on 777, it has to be questioned whether or not 777 are the right people to take the club forward.

In other Everton news, the club could yet be relegated with administration a “big worry” at Goodison Park.
