Everton attacker Dele Alli injury update issued by Doctor over 2023/24 return

Everton attacker Dele Alli has not yet returned to full first-team training despite being close for a while, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that if he is to be available for the senior side after such a lengthy absence, he would need a thorough training routine.

He would also require minutes for the reserves to get him up to speed with the rigours of the professional game and there must likely be a plan behind the scenes.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison NewsBrar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Alli:

“He has been close to returning to full training for a while, but that has not happened yet and I don’t think he will feature in the next two games.

“After being out for such a significant period of time, he would not only need thorough training sessions, but also bounce games with the reserves before he’s even considered for the first team.

“The club have also been very conservative when it comes to his return this season so it would make little sense to rush him back.

“There certainly is a plan in place for the future for him and the likelihood of his return for the club diminishes with each passing week.

Everton fans would love to give Dele Alli a proper send off

Alli aimed to return from his injury at some stage in the season, but that has not happened and is not likely to happen.

Hopefully, he recovers completely from his injury and gets his career right back on track no matter where he plays.
