Sean Dyche issues early team news for Everton v Sheffield United as three confirmed out
Sean Dyche has confirmed his Everton team news ahead of the Premier League clash against Sheffield United at Goodison Park on Saturday (11 May).
With no new injuries ahead of the match, only Vitalii Mykolenko, Nathan Patterson and Dele Alli are set to miss out, with all three absent until the end of the season.
This could open the door for some academy players to earn their debuts as the Toffees face the Blades in the final home game of the season, though Dyche is likely to want to secure all three points first of all.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Thursday (9 May), Dyche said: “Most are around. We’ve not got any serious injuries.
“I always believe in playing a team that can win. We’ll wait to see if everyone comes through training unscathed.”
Everton to face Sheffield United with no new injuries
Everton come into the match safe from Premier League relegation and in form off the back of four consecutive matches without a win.
The Blades, on the other hand, have already learned their fate and have been relegated back down to the Championship for the 2024-25 season.
While most will see this game as a dead rubber, Dyche will be keen for his team to end the campaign on a high after such a stressful season at Goodison Park, especially with Arsenal still to face on the final day.

The players will still want to impress ahead of the summer transfer window, as some may be targeting moves away while others could be hoping to break into the starting XI more regularly.
Having faced off in a hectic 2-2 draw earlier this season, Everton will hope to rectify that result and take all three points in their final home game of the season.
