Everton v Sheffield United clash at Goodison Park predicted by supercomputer
A supercomputer has predicted the most likely outcome of this weekend’s Premier League clash between Everton and Sheffield United.
The Toffees are preparing to face the Blades on Saturday (11 May) at Goodison Park with both sides already knowing their fate for next season.
Sean Dyche will be keen to keep up his side’s positive form with four wins from their last six games, and Opta Analyst has predicted they will do so.
Everton have been given a 53-per-cent chance of winning the game when the figure is rounded, compared to Sheffield United’s 19 and a 26-per-cent chance of a draw.
Everton set to keep up good form
With the Toffees already securing Premier League safety, they can have a more relaxed outlook on results in their final two games.
Comparatively, Chris Wilder’s side have had relegation to the Championship confirmed and are now solely playing for personal pride.
Both teams will be looking to secure three points to have some good form in their final two games to complete the season.
The Toffees have secured positive results against relegation-threatened sides in Nottingham Forest and Burnley in recent weeks.

Add to this a memorable win against Liverpool at Goodison Park and it is a fun time, form wise, to be an Everton fan.
If the 6-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge is forgotten then four wins and a draw since the start of April is great.
With the Blades already down and out, there is no reason why this run can’t be extended by at last one more game this weekend.
