Everton stance on permanent Arnaut Danjuma deal shared after win v Sheffield United
Arnaut Danjuma is not expected to stay on at Everton beyond the end of his loan spell, according to journalist Joe Thomas.
Thomas shared the update via the Liverpool Echo’s online edition [12 May] following the previous day’s 1-0 win over Sheffield United.
Danjuma has started just five Premier League games for Everton and was close to departing Goodison Park in the January transfer window.
“Arnaut Danjuma, again an unused substitute, is unlikely to return to Everton after a difficult loan spell from Villarreal,” Thomas wrote.

Bringing in Danjuma on loan last summer was considered an impressive piece of business, especially having missed out on him six months prior.
The Dutchman showed some early promise, too, as he scored in back-to-back games against Doncaster Rovers and Sheffield United.
This most recent encounter with the Blades, though, gives a better outlook of Danjuma’s future at Goodison Park.
The 27-year-old has not so much as played a minute since the 0-0 draw against Fulham at the end of January.
Danjuma was part of the matchday squad against Sheffield United, but there was no chance of him getting any minutes.
It is a deal that has not paid off for the Toffees, Villarreal and Danjuma himself, but it may well be he can kickstart his career elsewhere.
