777 Partners takeover chaos to impact Everton as well as Genoa amid £110m reveal
Everton will not be the only club to face repercussions should the 777 Partners go under with Genoa in the crosshairs as well, according to the Athletic.
The media outlet claimed on 16 May that the club’s recent accounts showed that the Miami-based investing firm had pumped £110million into the club since they took over.
The Serie A tends to bury its head into the stand with such instances and are expected to be the same in this case too.
Everton must not allow 777 Partners to take over control
777 have been criticised for a lack of transparency, financial mismanagement and a perceived disregard for the well-being of the clubs they have taken over.
One of the main criticisms of 777 Partners is their alleged financial mismanagement.
This has led to significant financial challenges for the clubs under their control, potentially Everton, who are now facing the possibility of administration due to the inability of 777 Partners to complete the acquisition.
Additionally, the firm’s takeover attempts have been met with opposition from fans and shareholders of the clubs involved.
The Toffees’ supporters club have urged Farhad Moshiri and the Premier League to end the farce of the proposed takeover by 777 Partners, citing the firm’s financial troubles and the potential damage to the club’s reputation.

Hopefully, the Premier League will step in and tell Moshiri that it’s time to find a new buyer for the club.
In other Everton news, a claim has emerged on Saudi Arabia potentially completing the takeover ahead of the 777 Partners.
