Everton takeover takes new twist as Josh Wander resignation confirmed at 777 Partners

Prospective Everton owners 777 Partners’ co-founders Josh Wander and Steven Pasko have officially resigned from their management positions at the company, according to Philippe Auclair.

The journalist reported via X on Friday (17 May) that both Wander, his sister Mollie and Pasko have resigned from their management positions at the Miami-based firm and 600 Partner LLC.

600 Partner LLC controls the company’s football operations across its multiple clubs through Nutmeg Acquisitions LLC and following their resignation, Ian Ratner and Ronald Glass of B.Riley have been appointed as managers of both entities.

Writing on X, Aculair said: “OFFICIAL. 777 Partners: Josh Wander, his sister Mollie and Steven Pasko have resigned from their positions as managers of 777 Partners LLC and 600 Partners LLC, which controls, through Nutmeg Acquisitions LLC, all of their football operations.”

Will 777 Partners complete their takeover of Everton at Goodison Park?

Barely a day has passed in the last eight months where Everton fans haven’t had to read a new headline or social media post demonstrating further chaos at 777 Partners.

It has been clear from the start of this process that the Miami-based investment firm is bad news. How their takeover bid has been allowed to get this far without already collapsing is ridiculous in itself.

Wander and Pasko’s resignations from their management positions at the company show just how disorganised things are at the club as it comes only days after they were sacked from the Standard Liege management board.

Ex-Everton owner Farhad Moshiri

Both co-founders at 777 Partners have shown little proof they can sustain Everton as a well-oiled ship, as their company are investigated for fraud in a US lawsuit launched by Leadenhall.

Hopefully, Farhad Moshiri will finally see sense and put an end to this ordeal once and for all.
