Everton takeover certainty emerges as new bids for ownership revealed in last 24 hours
Farhad Moshiri will not sell Everton to 777 Partners this summer with offers from new bidders coming in this week, according to The Esk.
The Toffees reporter and podcaster has taken to X (23 May) to suggest that a deal with 777 must be over as Moshiri hasn’t expressed his “previous confidence”.
There has been a mention of “unsolicited bids” which suggests that there are options for the wantaway owner to consider.
Despite 777 Partners’s SPA being extended, The Esk has said: “It is certain 777 will not be Everton owners.”
Farhad Moshiri makes latest 777 Partners Everton decision
Moshiri has clearly been struggling over the past year with the Toffees which has seen him desperately try to find a new owner to take over.
777 Partners’ deal to become owners at Goodison Park appeared to have been bubbling under the surface but has fallen flat recently.
The group have had issues with failing to make payments on time with Everton and Standard Liege which have put Moshiri off.
Although this news initially seemed largely positive there has been a general lack of updates regarding any other potential owners.
With the summer transfer window nearing, the prospect of having to sell key stars becomes more of a reality as every day passes.
The likes of Jordan Pickford, Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana could all be preparing for the exit door should Moshiri fail to find a new owner.
Toffees fans are getting bored of the repetition of these updates, they will be happy to hear 777 Partners are off the table but just want a concrete update.
