Everton takeover update as new unnamed bidder emerges as 777 Partners deal nears collapse
A rival unnamed bidder remains interested in taking over Everton as 777 Partners’ deal nears its collapse, according to Josimar.
The outlet reported on its website on Friday (31 May) that the Miami-based investment firm’s takeover has been doomed for some time already and it now sees that the Toffees will be in new hands one way or another.
While Crystal Palace co-owner John Textor has already thrown his hat into the wrong, Farhad Moshiri has suggested that he has received unsolicited approaches from alternative buyers whilst in talks with 777 Partners.
Alongside Textor, a rival bidder whose identity has not yet been revealed still would be interested in acquiring control at Goodison Park.
What is happening with 777 Partners’ Everton takeover at Goodison Park?
The majority of Everton supporters will just be looking forward to the day that they don’t have to hear their name alongside 777 Partners again. Ever since they agreed a deal with Moshiri, there has been constant trouble at Goodison Park.
It has been obvious from the outside now for some time that the Miami-based firm would not succeed Moshiri as the Blues’ owner, with new issues seemingly cropping up across their businesses with each and every passing week.
With their deadline to complete their takeover quickly approaching, it would take a miracle for them to somehow take control on the blue half of Merseyside. While that is a good thing, Moshiri and Everton now have to find new buyers.

Although the identity of the alternative bidder remains anonymous, it is good to know that other parties remain interested in acquiring the Toffees. Otherwise, administration could have become a genuine issue for Sean Dyche’s side.
Hopefully, this new buyer will be willing to pay the fee that Moshiri is looking for to get this deal over the line. That way, fans and those within the football club can begin to look towards a brighter future.
