John Textor could complete Everton takeover on the cheap as Farhad Moshiri decision mooted
Bryan King claims John Textor could complete a takeover of Everton for a reduced fee.
The ex-Goodison scout believes Farhad Moshiri might have no choice but to sell the club for less than he initially wanted.
Textor has been credited with an interest in completing a takeover at Goodison Park as the 777 Partners deal looks set to fall through.
And King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – believes Everton’s value has decreased.
“Could Textor potentially get Everton for a cheaper price?” King said.
“Whoever comes in will need to take on the club’s debt, which is quite immense.
“If the demand for Everton is limited, then I think Moshiri will be forced to accept a lower price.
“And this entire mess has been created by himself the board.”
Farhad Moshiri in a weak position with Everton at Goodison Park
Moshiri has essentially lost all bargaining power.
With the club’s struggles so public, it is hard to imagine a queue forming outside Goodison Park.
As a result, the club’s majority owner might be forced to accept whatever he can get.

The Toffees are in a desperate situation, and Textor could look to use this to his advantage.
In other Everton news, the club are to complete a “significant” transfer once the takeover is complete.
