Iliman Ndiaye touches down for Everton medical as new transfer update drops

Iliman Ndiaye is currently undergoing his Everton medical ahead of a move to Goodison Park this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian transfer specialist reported via X on Wednesday (26 June) that the 26-year-old forward has touched down in Merseyside and is set to sign a five-year deal with the Toffees.

Everton are set to pay £15.6million plus £1.3million in add-ons to secure the Marseille striker’s signature this summer.

Everton set to sign Iliman Ndiaye as player undergoes medical

Considering the Toffees issues in the final third last season, it is vital that Sean Dyche finds a new striker in the summer transfer window, and it looks as though the club have found their man.

With previous experience in the Premier League with Sheffield United, where he scored 22 goals in 88 appearances, Ndiaye looks to be an intelligent buy at Goodison Park.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s future is currently up in the air, having had a move to Newcastle United fall through, though the 27-year-old was the club’s top scorer last term despite only notching seven league goals.

The Englishman was joined by Abdoulaye Doucoure at the top of the goalscoring list, showing how much Everton lacked a threat in the final third of the pitch. Only the Blades scored fewer goals.

Ndiaye, who was playing in Ligue 1 and the Europa League last season, will bring plenty of goals to Merseyside, and for a decent fee as well.

Having now lost Lewis Dobbin to Aston Villa, Dyche’s side was in desperate need of reinforcements and fans will be hoping this is not the only additions to arrive at Goodison Park in the coming weeks.

While Amadou Onana could still leave the club, his sale would raise funds for multiple key signings in different positions, but only if the Toffees spend smartly.
