Everton transfer news as Iliman Ndiaye update emerges as Marseille exit nears

A deal to bring Iliman Ndiaye to Everton in the summer transfer window still remains on the cards at Goodison Park, according to Alan Myers.

The Sky Sports journalist reported on X on Saturday (29 June) that he hasn’t yet been told anything to suggest that a deal is no longer set to happen, despite the lack of new updates from the club itself in recent days.

Reports have suggested the striker has already undergone his medical with the Toffees, with his summer move to Merseyside already guaranteed despite the lack of an official announcement [Fabrizio Romano, 26 June].

Replying to a supporter on X who asked: “Is the Ndiaye deal still on the cards Al?” Myers replied: “Haven’t been told any different tbh.”

Have Everton confirmed the signing of Iliman Ndiaye amid transfer silence?

The transfer window may have only been open for a matter of days, but supporters around the country are itching for some sort of update about their team’s plans and Everton fans are no different this summer.

While the lack of updates around Ndiaye’s move may have worried some supporters, it doesn’t seem like any issues have been encountered in the deal and it is instead more likely a case of waiting for the PSR deadline to pass.

Hopefully, an official announcement will emerge from the club sooner rather than later so that supporters can begin to get excited about a new attacker joining the ranks. Until it is confirmed, there will be a fear he could head elsewhere.

Once Ndiaye is through the door, the Toffees can begin looking at other targets to bolster their ranks between now and the start of the season as Sean Dyche looks to climb further up the Premier League table.
