Everton announce ‘landmark’ commercial deal with American firm
Everton have secured a long-term partnership with food service expert Aramark in one of the biggest commercial deals in the club’s history.
The club confirmed the news on 8 August, that Aramark UK will oversee the culinary service and they will become a founding partner at the Bramley Moore Dock stadium.
The agreement will see the creation of 1,200 jobs which the company will work with Everton in the Community to help fill.
Richard Kenyon, Everton’s Chief Commercial and Communications Officer, said of the deal: “This is a landmark partnership for the Club and we are delighted to welcome Aramark as a Founding Partner.
“Their mission to set the standard for excellence and their alignment with our vision to create exceptional experiences for Evertonians really resonated with us.
“Aramark understands what goes into and what is required to deliver high profile and multi-purpose venues. As we look forward to the Club’s bright future at our new home, we are focused on working together to deliver the right type of experience for every fan and every visitor, both within the stadium and on The Plaza.
“By utilising Aramark’s global expertise across many industries, we will be adopting the very latest in retail technology to make a visit to Everton Stadium an amazing experience for every Evertonian.
“Evertonians deserve the best and we are working with a global industry leader in Aramark to offer unrivalled experiences at our new home.”
Everton deal with Aramark to improve their financial standing
Farhad Moshiri has taken a step in the right direction to improve the financial stability of the Blues in this latest commercial deal.
His time at the Everton helm is expected to end and while it will probably do little to sway the overall negative opinion among supporters, this move will leave the Blues in a stronger commercial standpoint for the new prospective owners.
Since the Friedkin Group pulled out of talks the long-term future of the club looks more uncertain than ever, interest in the club is virtually non-existent and Moshiri’s asking price is proving a stumbling block [Kieran Maguire to TBR Football].

Tottenham Hotspur and Daniel Levy have created a constant revenue stream through their exploits with their modern stadium, a path Everton should look to replicate once the Bramley Moore Dock venue is operational.
Aramark are committed to helping the Blues transform their stadium into a revolutionary venue for fan experience in matchday and non-matchday events.
Frictionless stores will be implemented to include self-service beer stations, kitchen pick-up points, and immersive food and beverage offers to eliminate wait times through modern technology.
Everton fans still have no clarity on the long-term future of their club heading into the new Premier League season but this is a smart move from the club and whoever inherits the Toffees after Moshiri’s eight-week deadline [Stefan Borson] will not only inherit one of the most decorated sides in England, but a modern stadium based on the Liverpool waterfront brimming with commercial possibilities.
In other Everton news, Alan Myers has issued an update as the Toffees now want to sign a £25m-rated ‘Explosive’ central midfielder.
