Everton insider shares what he has been told about John Textor takeover at Goodison Park
Bryan King claims John Textor has the money to complete an Everton takeover at Goodison Park.
The ex-Goodison scout has suggested the problem will be whether or not Textor can sell his shares in Crystal Palace.
Farhad Moshiri has granted a period of exclusivity to Textor as the Crystal Palace co-owner looks to purchase a majority stake in the Toffees (via BBC Sport, 15 August).
And King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – has shared what he has been told about the takeover bid.
“I asked a friend of mine about whether Textor has the money for Everton,” King said.
“He said he has got the money, but the question is will he be able to sell his Crystal Palace shares? That is going to be something.
“And the boy I know who was involved in the original Michael Dell deal with the two Liverpool-based businessmen, their company are looking at 777 Partners’ portfolio of football clubs.
“Things can happen there. However, not 777 Partners purchasing Everton Football Club, that is for sure.”
John Textor to complete Everton takeover at Goodison Park?
Textor is the third interested party to enter exclusivity talks with Moshiri.
Therefore, supporters at Goodison Park are unlikely to be optimistic about a takeover being completed anytime soon.

The Friedkin Group and 777 Partners have both seen takeover bids fall apart. As a result, fans will be cautious about getting their hopes up.
However, a takeover needs to be completed at Goodison Park. Therefore, everybody connected with the Toffees will be quietly hoping that Textor is the man to save them from this mess.
Should these latest talks collapse, Everton and Moshiri will find themselves at an all-time low.
