Jack Harrison must be axed at HT if Everton want to win v Bournemouth

Everton attacker Jack Harrison must be axed at half-time if the Toffees want to beat Bournemouth on Saturday 31 August.

Going into the break at 0-0 at Goodison Park, more needs to be done in the final third to get those first three points of the Premier League season.

Despite neither side gaining the lead, it felt Like Everton were all over their opponents for the first 25 minutes of the game.

Harrison was one of the main causes for the poor form in front of goal as the Leeds United loanee missed a fair few chances within the first half an hour of the game.

As per Sofascore, he managed a total of 30 touches and only garnered an xG of 0.1 whilst also only completing 66 per cent of his ground duels, showing how little the attacker would be missed should he be replaced.

Sean Dyche needs to bring on Jesper Lindstrom in the second half

Everton newbie Jesper Lindstrom hasn’t yet been afforded the chance to start his first Premier League game.

The attacker was brought in to help bolster Dyche’s ranks and despite having a solid start in cameos with the club, the former Napoli man hasn’t been entrusted by his manager to start a game.

And, despite the addition of fellow newbie Iliman Ndiaye to Dyche’s starting 11, there hasn’t been enough pace or finishing ability upfront.

Lindstrom’s addition might not be the only thing Dyche would need to improve his team’s hopes of winning, however, as it feels strange to see Dwight McNeil playing centrally over Nidaye.

Only time will tell what the second half has in store for both teams, but, one thing is for sure, if Harrison continues to keep hogging the ball and missing sitters, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him axed at half-time.
