Richard Keys in hysterics after watching Everton collapse v Bournemouth
Richard Keys could hardly control himself at Andy Gray’s reaction as Everton threw away a two-goal lead in the 3-2 loss to Bournemouth on Saturday [31 August].
The Blues took the lead at Goodison Park after two quick-fire goals in seven minutes courtesy of Michael Keane and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Former Everton player Gray couldn’t believe his eyes live on beIN SPORTS 1 [31 August, 4:55] as the Toffees surrendered the two-goal advantage in the final 10 minutes of the match.
Gray was speechless as he watched back the footage and said to Keys: “You’ll have to do this bit”.
As Keys laughed over the top of him, Gray added: “I can’t believe it. I cannot believe it.”
Everton problems get worse under Sean Dyche
If Sean Dyche didn’t already have a mountain to climb at Everton, he will need to scale Mount Everest to win back the supporters’ trust after the Bournemouth defeat.
Tensions between the fans and the club have surpassed boiling point and Dyche will be under immense pressure to turn around his fortunes in the next few weeks after a third consecutive league defeat.
Everton conceded two stoppage-time goals thanks to Lewis Cook and Luis Sinisterra after Anthony Semenyo pegged a goal back for the Cherries with three minutes of the regulation 90 remaining.
After a 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on the opening day and a 4-0 loss to Tottenham last weekend, another loss at Goodison Park was the last thing that Dyche needed – especially in these circumstances.

It is hard to tell where to go from here for Everton, the club has reached its lowest point only three matches into the new season and many will be calling for Dyche to pay with his job.
The deadline day signings of Lyon midfielder Orel Mangala [Sacha Tavolieri] and Chelsea striker Armando Broja [David Ornstein] on season-long loan deals will bring hope to the Blues supporters that it will not be all doom and gloom at Goodison Park for the rest of the season.
However, it is apparent that a drastic change is needed at Everton to rectify their season and that change is needed fast before their campaign well and truly spirals out of control.
