John Textor ready for quick Crystal Palace shares sale in new Everton takeover update
John Textor has informed interested parties of his desire to speed up the sale of his Crystal Palace shareholding before purchasing Everton, sources have told the Daily Mail.
The newspaper reported via its website [16 September] that the American businessman has a soft deadline of late September for written indications of interest at Selhurst Park.
It is understood that Textor wants to speed up the entire selling process so he can strike a deal with Farhad Moshiri to complete a takeover at Goodison Park.
John Textor keen to speed up ahead of Everton takeover
Textor is keen to push a deal across the line to take Moshiri’s position on Merseyside, a sign that the fans will appreciate right now.
Times are dire for Sean Dyche and his team, having been condemned to four straight defeats in the Premier League, leaving them at the foot of the table with zero points.
However, fans will be extremely excited to hear Textor’s ambition to complete his takeover at Goodison Park, with the Palace co-owner needing to sell his shares at Selhurst Park before it can be agreed.
This news comes after famous musician Jay-Z was linked with becoming one of Textor’s partners in his bid to buy the Toffees, an update that came out of the blue from Alan Nixon [15 September].

There is little for fans to currently cheer about on Merseyside, but the continuous positive updates on Textor’s takeover attempt will bring a rare smile to many at Goodison Park.
He has expressed his desire to make Everton a “superpower” [Nixon], waiting to splash the cash on new star signings, which will be music to the fans’ ears at this moment in time.
Of course, no deal has been completed yet so a takeover twist is always possible, but the recent news is extremely promising.
