Juventus want to sign Beto as Everton proposal already mooted for January
Juventus could propose a loan deal to sign Everton striker Beto in January, according to Quotidiano Sportivo.
The Old Lady are looking to reinforce their attacking ranks and could sign Beto to provide cover for Dusan Vlahovic, but Dan Friedkin’s links to Roma have already raised concerns.
Juventus are concerned that their Serie A rivals might pip them to the 26-year-old’s signature before they can make any progress
Beto has failed to make an impact at Everton
Beto moved to Goodison Park in the summer of 2023 after his impressive displays at Udinese, where he scored 22 goals in 65 appearances.
Unfortunately, the Portugal-born striker has failed to replicate that in England, with his performances not instilling fans with confidence.
Despite playing an important role, Beto put in average performances in his debut season for an Everton side struggling for goals.

With Dominic Calvert-Lewin returning to the fold after his injuries, Sean Dyche has opted to stick with English national as his main number nine, with Beto playing a subsidiary role in the current campaign.
However, it does not seem wise to let go of the 26-year-old in January unless the Toffees sign reinforcements to provide cover for the injury-prone Calvert-Lewin.
A move away feels like the best option for both parties, with Beto returning to a familiar environment in Italy and the Toffees getting his wages out of the way.
Will the striker’s next destination be Juventus or another team? Only time will tell.
