Everton could sign Hugo Larsson as he wows in Germany with Eintracht Frankfurt

Everton could be a landing spot for Eintracht Frankfurt ace Hugo Larsson after a positive spell in Germany, according to the Daily Mail.

Tom Collomosse reported on 17 October that the 20-year-old took to life in the Bundesliga “superbly” in his debut campaign after signing from Malmo.

The Sweden international can operate in multiple roles in the midfield with deep playmaker and progressive runner mooted as his best.

Larsson could look for a move before “reaching the top of the Premier League tree” and Goodison could prove to be a perfect place to do that.

The Toffees are amid a potential takeover which could alter how they look at the transfer market moving forward.

There are no guarantees but the funds available to Sean Dyche, or whoever comes in to replace him with Jose Mourinho mooted, could be increased from previous years.

This could see moves for young talents from the continent like Larsson be entirely possible and would represent a positive step in the right direction at Goodison.

Transfers have been under scrutiny over recent years with even the likes of Jake O’Brien and Beto representing overpayments on Merseyside.

As a result, finding young talents available in Europe who could come in and plug a gap for the Toffees could prove to be a more beneficial transfer policy.

The Sweden international could come in and compliment someone like Tim Iroegbunam who could form the future of the midfield at Goodison for many years to come.
