Tim Iroegbunam out for weeks as brand new Everton injury blow emerges
Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam is set to be sidelined for “weeks” with a foot injury, Paul Joyce has shared [17 October].
Sean Dyche also confirmed that James Garner will be unavailable due to a back injury, while Jarrad Branthwaite is also doubtful for the trip to Ipswich Town on 19 October.
Orel Mangala played twice over the international break, while Abdoulaye Doucoure remains fit and an option at Goodison Park.
Everton will miss Tim Iroegbunam in the coming weeks
Dyche has had to contend with a tough start to the season, with only one win in seven matches so far in the Premier League.
However, the English manager seems to have found some stability, with the Goodison Park side unbeaten in their last three league games.
One of the reasons for this may be the blossoming partnership between Doucoure and Mangala, with stability needed in vital areas of the pitch.

However, with games coming thick and fast, Everton’s squad depth will be tested, and it’s discouraging to see some more options pick up knocks after the recent break at Finch Farm.
Dyche trusted Iroegbunam at the start of the campaign, however, the 21-year-old lost his place after some disheartening defeats against Bournemouth and Aston Villa.
With few options to make big changes, it is likely that Everton will look very similar to their draw against Newcastle at Portman Road next time out.
