Dele Alli behind-the-scenes claim emerges as Everton return on cards

Dele Alli appears to be working hard behind the scenes to return to playing for Everton and that is an encouraging sign, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that it gets difficult to keep one’s head up after being out of action for over a year and a half.

He also reacted to Bryan King’s comments on the 28-year-old retiring from professional football.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Alli: “I think it really just comes down to if Alli feels he has the ongoing resilience and patience to continue to keep fighting.

He hasn’t played in 19 months and had multiple setbacks so it’s not easy to continue to keep your head up and go through that daily fight, particularly if the light at the end of the tunnel continually gets smaller.

The point at which Dele decides it’s not worth it anymore, I imagine that’s when he hangs it up.

It is encouraging to see him working hard behind the scenes so it seems he’s keen on returning to football and not retiring as suggested.

Once he gets a decent amount of game time for the youth side, provided there are no further injury setbacks, he could soon be in contention for the first team.
