Jarrad Branthwaite injury update shared after development on Everton ace
Jarrad Branthwaite withdrew from England duty due to a pelvic issue he picked up in the game between Everton and West Ham last Saturday, according to Sami Mokbel.
The centre-back was promoted to the senior team from the Under-21s earlier this week, but did not travel to Athens for England’s clash with Greece on Thursday, 14 November.
However, the Toffees are hopeful that Branthwaite will be available for their Premier League game against Brentford after the international break on 23 November, Mokbel revealed via his Daily Mail column on Thursday.
Jarrad Branthwaite injury update shared after development on Everton ace
This news will come as a relief for Everton as they would have been sweating over Branthwaite’s status since it emerged that he has been released from England duty.
The 22-year-old has already missed nine games across all competitions for the Goodison Park outfit this season after undergoing surgery during the injury.
Sean Dyche has been particularly cautious with Branthwaite after he suffered a setback after Everton’s 2-1 win against Crystal Palace on 28 September.
There has been frustration over the manager’s decision not to start him against Fulham and Southampton, but it appears his intuitions were right.

The Toffees will be glad it is not the groin injury that kept Branthwaite out at the start of the season is causing him problems again and a new issue is likely easier to deal with.
Dyche and Co. are sixteenth in the table, sitting just three points above the relegation zone, and cannot afford to be without Branthwaite for an extended period for the rest of the season.
