Roma make transfer decision on Everton ace Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Roma are set to look at other alternatives to Everton ace Dominic Calvert-Lewin, according to TEAMtalk.

The online news outlet said the Serie A side have been monitoring the English striker, who is out of contract in June 2025, but will explore other options.

Newcastle United and AC Milan are among the other suitors still watching the 27-year-old’s situation, though the Toffees are hopeful of renewing his contract, the report adds.

Everton need to make quick Dominic Calvert-Lewin

We really are at a stage now where Everton simply just have to make a decision on Calvert-Lewin’s future because the constant noise is just not doing anyone any favours.

Calvert-Lewin’s goalscoring record this season leaves a lot to be desired but there is more than a fair argument to make that the way Dyche has this side playing just simply does not create enough chances for the Toffees’ marksman.

But, basically the club have to decide whether to stick or twist. If it looks like the former Sheffield United man is not going to put pen to paper on a new contract then they simply have to try and get a fee for him in January.

The difficulty is that the clubs abroad watching him can of course agree a pre-contract deal with him and with his contract winding down they might not want to pay a fee. It’s a difficult situation but a decision needs to be made.
