David Moyes wants Everton return after rejecting Premier League job
David Moyes rejected the Leicester City job due to having one eye on a return to Everton, according to Graeme Bailey.
The current Toffees boss has been skating on thin ice for the past few weeks, with his side sitting 15th in the Premier League after 13 matches, most recently losing 4-0 to Manchester United on Sunday 1 December.
Moyes has already been linked with a move back to Goodison Park [TBR Football], having been in charge between 2002 and 2013, and could make a dramatic return if the club choose to replace Dyche.
Speaking to Everton News [3 December], Bailey said: “The pressure is mounting on Sean Dyche at Everton with the Friedkin Group set to complete their takeover.
“And David Moyes is the man in line to come and take charge at Goodison Park. The Scotsman didn’t want to be considered for the recent Leicester manager vacancy, with one reason being the possible chance of a return to Everton.”
Could David Moyes replace Sean Dyche as Everton boss?
Supporters are absolutely furious with the current figure in charge, with the Toffees currently only two points above the dreaded dropzone, and it is no wonder watching some of the performances.
An upcoming clash against fellow strugglers Wolves could be crucial for Dyche’s future on Merseyside, especially with the side’s winter period of games looking horrendous.
The Blues must face Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City before December ends, with few fans expecting the side to get any points out of these fixtures.

While very few fans are convinced about the swap of Dyche with Moyes, the club may have no choice if the Toffees struggle to pick up many points over the next few weeks.
It is understood that sacking Dyche could cost as little as £3million [The Esk], and with no legal hurdles standing in the way [The Esk], time could be ticking down on his time at Goodison.
In other Everton news, Chris Beesley was baffled by what Sean Dyche said about the 4-0 loss v Manchester United.
