Everton fans set to enjoy ‘magnificent’ feature at Bramley-Moore Dock

Everton supporters will be emotional at leaving Goodison Park but can enjoy a new feature at Bramley-Moore Dock described as “magnificent” by talkSPORT host Sam Matterface.

As explained by Sam Matterface, alongside Troy Deeney live on talkSPORT [6 December, 12:47], Toffees fans will enjoy the best views in the Premier League due to the 35-degree gradient at which the seats are positioned.

This will enhance the matchday experience for fans from the summer of 2025 and potentially a lucrative naming rights deal can spring up for the club, as they bid an emotional farewell to Goodison Park at the end of this season.

“Enjoy [Goodison Park] while it lasts, because the new stadium is nothing short of magnificent,” Matterface said.

“They’ve got raking seats at a 35-degree angle, which is the steepest gradient you can have seats by the regulations. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is 34 degrees and the view is terrific.”

Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium can revolutionise Everton

The new stadium is coming together very excitingly for Everton fans, even if Storm Darragh managed a small win over it this week with areas of the site flooded.

Tottenham’s incredible arena – at which they set up home back in 2019 – is often lauded not just for its multi-million-pound facilities but also its view from every area.

Coupled with the imminent chapter beginning of The Freidkin Group era, Everton finally have plenty to be upbeat about following years of drab chaos and a distinct threat of Championship football.

While that has not been totally evaporated just yet, the grand old stadium of Goodison will hopefully from a Toffees perspective be able to eke out a few more wins yet, in order to do enough to stave off any drop danger.

In the present, the club are preparing for what is very likely to be the final Merseyside derby to be contested at their traditional home, as Premier League leaders Liverpool enter this particular patch of blue enemy territory for the last time on Saturday [7 December].

It is a difficult but necessary measure in terms of sentiment – and the quicker Everton set up home at Bramley-Moore Dock, the more rapid rate the club can give the place its own identities and history.
