Everton funds revealed for January as Friedkin gets ready for overhaul
The Friedkin Group are ready to oversee a major squad overhaul at Everton after buying the club from Farhad Moshiri, according to TEAMtalk.
The outlet reported via their website on 11 December that it is only a matter of time before the takeover goes through, with everything expected to be finalised before Christmas.
Dan Friedkin will then make “some funds” available for new signings in the January transfer window as the Toffees look to avoid relegation.

It appears a major squad overhaul is also in the pipeline, although fans have to wait until the summer for that.
The Merseyside-based club have eight first-team players out of contract at the end of the season, meaning Friedkin and co have some huge decisions to make immediately after taking charge at Goodison Park.
However, they cannot lose sight of the club’s short-term goals, with only five points separating Sean Dyche’s side from the drop zone.

TFG’s arrival is expected to take some pressure off the club financially, meaning they are likely to be in a better position to bolster their ranks in January.
