Jack Harrison has played final Everton game after what Leeds United loanee did
Everton supporters are becoming more and more frustrated by Jack Harrison’s lack of attacking output this season.
The winger, currently on loan from Leeds United, has yet to register a single goal contribution in the Premier League this term despite making 15 appearances already.
It should really be no surprise based on last season’s stats, having only notched three goals and three assists in 29 appearances, yet the Toffees decided to bring him back to Goodison Park in the summer.
As one of the more experienced players in the squad, the 28-year-old should be setting an example for the younger players around him, but that has yet to be seen under Sean Dyche.
With the player on loan from Championship side Leeds again, it is understood that the Toffees have no plans to terminate his contract during the January transfer window [TEAMtalk].
However, this has been tipped to change under new ownership, and with The Friedkin Group’s takeover now completed, he may have played his final game for the Merseyside club.
Everton to get rid of Jack Harrison during January transfer window?
Despite earning an important draw against Chelsea on Sunday 22 December, the Toffees had one brilliant chance to seal all three points against the team second in the Premier League.
And, of course, that moment happened to fall to Harrison, who was closed down by Robert Sanchez, but with a 0.56xG [FotMob], he should have scored his first goal of the season.
The winger, who Leeds signed for £11million in 2021 [BBC Sport], continues to miss important chances, get bullied out of challenges, be slack in possession, and in general, just become a form of frustration for the Everton fanbase.
With Youssef Chermiti back in the squad after a long-term injury, and Jesper Lindstrom eager to win the love of the supporters, Dyche has more than enough depth on the right flank to send Harrison back to Elland Road.

Although a single point has moved the Toffees four points clear of the relegation zone, an extra two points would have taken them within touching distance of West Ham United.
Instead, relegation is still very much an overshadowing fear for the Toffees and Harrison has absolutely nowhere to hide after his missed chance.
