Newcastle United ace Osula sends message to Ndiaye after what Everton star did
Newcastle United William Osula sent a quick message to Iliman Ndiaye after the Everton man starred against Manchester City on Thursday.
The 24-year-old netted his fourth goal since arriving at Goodison Park in the summer, silencing the majority of the Etihad Stadium on 26 December following Bernardo Silva’s opener.
To the shock of many supporters, Ndiaye’s first-half goal helped the Toffees to secure a valuable point away from home on Boxing Day, keeping them three points above the relegation zone.
Reacting to Ndiaye’s Instagram post on Thursday [26 December], Osula simply wrote: “Him,” while teammate Orel Mangala commented: “As usual.”
Iliman Ndiaye stars in Everton draw v Manchester City
The Toffees were given absolutely no hope of any positive results when facing Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City in consecutive matches over the Christmas period.
With back-to-back goalless draws against the Blues and the Gunners, Ndiaye single-handedly pushed his side up the pitch and won an unexpected point against the current Premier League champions.
While only three points separate them from the dropzone, recent performances have been extremely promising and it looks as though there has been a bounce from the takeover news.

The Friedkin Group may begin to rethink their plans for Sean Dyche, who has defied all expectations and secured draws against three of the best teams in the division, but the team are still in danger.
Many will believe that the Toffees can steer away from relegation for yet another Premier League campaign but the danger is certainly still there until a few more points are picked up.
Defensively, issues seem to have been fixed by Jordan Pickford, Jarrad Branthwaite and James Tarkowski, but Ndiaye cannot be trusted to carry the team forward on every occasion.
The likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Beto and Armando Broja need to step up to the plate and get goals on a more regular occasion.
