Iliman Ndiaye return update shared by expert before Everton v Nottingham Forest
Iliman Ndiaye has a 50 per cent chance of playing in the Premier League clash between Everton and Nottingham Forest on Sunday, according to Ben Dinnery.
The injury expert reported via his Premier Injuries website [27 December] that the attacker had some tightness in his calf, which is why Sean Dyche hooked him before the end of their clash against Manchester City.
Others such as Dwight McNeil and Seamus Coleman also have a 50 per cent chance of appearing for the game on 29 November, but nothing is yet set in stone.
Everton need Iliman Ndiaye or Dwight McNeil to be fit v Nottingham Forest
Across the entirety of the 2024/25 season, there have been two attackers who have starred for the Toffees while the others have been fairly lacklustre.
Ndiaye and McNeil are likely two of the main reasons that Sean Dyche’s men don’t find themselves in the Premier League’s relegation zone at the moment due to their impressive performances at various points throughout the campaign.
Without either of their dynamic duo in the starting XI, it’s hard to see where any sort of creativity would come from within the Toffees’ ranks, especially with the form players such as Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom are in at the moment.

If Dyche wants any chance of adding any more points to his Premier League tally, much like he has done in his last three top-flight games against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City, he really needs one of the two to be fit.
Otherwise, it feels like they may as well write off coming away from Goodison Park with all three points to their name already.
In other Everton news, Sean Dyche has been backed for a new role under TFG.
