Sean Dyche axes Ndiaye, three changes – Everton predicted XI v Nottingham Forest

Iliman Ndiaye could be one of three changes to the Everton starting XI in their Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

The Toffees may also look at dropping Seamus Coleman now that Ashley Young will be available after being absent against Manchester City due to suspension.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is the next first-team regular to be on the chopping block as his form over the last month or so has left an awful lot to be desired.

This means that, due to the 50 per cent chance of Ndiaye being available after he was hooked early in Everton’s 1-1 draw against the Citizens, Jesper Lindstrom may come into the side.

Young and Armando Broja are the other two in line to make their way into Sean Dyche’s starting XI against high-flying Forest.

Sean Dyche to drop Seamus Coleman for Ashley Young in Everton v Nottingham Forest

As has been the case for the entirety of the season so far, and as will likely be the case for the rest of it, Jordan Pickford will be the man between the sticks, especially after his recent penalty-saving heroics.

The defensive line will more or less stay the same aside from Young taking Coleman’s spot at right-back, with James Tarkowski, Jarrad Branthwaite and Vitalii Mykolenko each filling their usual spots in the team.

The midfield trio of Orel Mangala, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Idrissa Gueye seemed to work out well last time around with a good balance of defensive and attacking talent between the three of them.

The Toffees’ attack, however, is where changes could happen. Jack Harrison will likely keep his role on the right wing as Dwight McNeil still finds himself sidelined with a knee injury.

On the left will be Lindstrom as, despite his “immaculate” performance against City, Ndiaye felt a bit of tightness in his calf which meant that Dyche had to hook him early so that his injury didn’t worsen.

Dyche will not want to take any risks on one of his star performers at a key point in the campaign, so leaving him out surely makes the most sense.

Last but not least, Broja could well make his first Premier League start of the season as he could come in to replace Calvert-Lewin.

That is despite the fact that he’s had just a couple of short cameos since returning from injury, as he could provide exactly what the Merseyside outfit need up top if used from the start.
