Sean Dyche must pray for Everton star ahead of Nottingham Forest
Sean Dyche will be hoping he has Iliman Ndiaye available to him on Sunday as Everton prepare to take on Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The 24-year-old was forced off the pitch through injury after 81 minutes against Manchester City after he scored the equaliser in the 1-1 draw on Boxing Day.
It has been reported by injury expert Ben Dinnery that there is a 50% chance of the forward being available on 29 December which could be a blow for Dyche as he looks to get another strong result.
Everton will want Iliman Ndiaye available against Nottingham Forest
In what has been another tough season for Everton so far, the 24-year-old has been a rare shining light that has helped the Toffees get out of the position they could have found themselves in.
His performance in the 1-1 draw with Manchester City emphasised this as he scored the only Blues goal of the game and received a 7.8 rating on FotMob before being withdrawn.
In a game where their opponents dominated the possession, Ndiaye didn’t have the opportunity to spend much time on the ball but when he did have it, he was effective with his play.
The attacking player had a passing accuracy of 91 per cent, showing just how crucial he is to the final third when looking to create and score chances.

Furthermore, Ndiaye had a long ball accuracy of 100 per cent which highlights his ability to fit into what his side needs with Dyche typically taking a more direct approach when it comes to attacking.
He was the second highest-rated member of the squad after Jordan Pickford and stood his ground well in the game without being dispossessed in his 81 minutes on the pitch.
The tough fixtures don’t ease up for the Toffees with an in-form Forest up next but three points from three games against title contenders will surely give Dyche a boost that his side can deliver here too.
However, with Ndiaye continuing to show what he can do this term, the Blues will surely feel a big loss if he is not fit enough to play on Sunday, with Dyche praying for positive news.
