Calvert-Lewin fiancé takes swipe at Dyche after what he did in Everton loss
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s fiancé has taken an apparent swipe at Everton boss Sean Dyche after the 2-0 loss against Nottingham Forest.
The 27-year-old is approaching the final six months of his deal at Goodison Park, and his exit looks all the more likely after he lost his place in the starting lineup to Armando Broja on Sunday (29 December).
However, his fiancé Sandra Jerze took to Instagram [29 December] after the defeat in response to an Evertonian’s view on the decision.
An account named @thefredway wrote: “They said DCL on the bench… well he is, and he was against Man U as well.”
Jerze quoted that message and added: “I didn’t say it but Freddy he did, he said it.”

While Jerze will undoubtedly be frustrated with Dyche’s decision to omit Calvert-Lewin on Sunday, the forward has hardly shown the form worthy of earning a continued starting berth.
He has started 16 of the Blues’ 18 games in the Premier League this season and has found the back of the net on two occasions – he is the current joint-70th highest goalscorer heading into the New Year.
The Blues have lacked a recognised goalscorer this year and Dyche is well within his rights to hand an opportunity to Armando Broja to impress.
Furthermore, Calvert-Lewin will be free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with a club outside of England in two days’ time and has shown no intention to extend his eight-year spell on Merseyside beyond the current campaign.

Fiorentina are preparing to table a “huge” offer for the striker that is only awaiting his signature [Alan Nixon], and he is in line to be the subject of intense interest in the Premier League and abroad.
However, this is not a good look for the forward and all but spells the end of his Everton career with the January transfer window now here.
