Sean Dyche sack: Everton officials meet possible new manager already
Everton officials have already held talks with Graham Potter about replacing Sean Dyche as manager, according to Sky Sports.
The news outlet reports (7 January) that the Englishman has met and spoken with senior officials from the Toffees and West Ham in recent months.
Potter was in touch with the Hammers on Monday (6 January), and things are expected to move quickly at both Premier League clubs in the next 24 hours.
The 49-year-old’s camp is anticipated to discuss things further with the Blues and the Irons in the coming hours.
Sean Dyche Everton sack inevitable after Graham Potter interest
Dyche’s future at the Toffees is uncertain as The Friedkin Group have already spoken about his situation [Sky Sports, 6 January].
Even if West Ham beat the Merseyside outfit to appoint Potter, things don’t look good for the former Burnley manager at Goodison.
Now that the new owners have seemingly shown doubt over the 53-year-old at the Toffees, his sacking seems inevitable.
Dan Friedkin should appoint a new manager at Everton sooner rather than later to avoid a quality option like Potter slipping through their hands.

The Blues should’ve relieved Dyche of his duties after the Nottingham Forest defeat and could have avoided the competition with the Hammers.
As things stand, the Merseyside outfit are just one point above the relegation zone and potentially need changes in the dugout to turn things around.
It remains to be seen whether the Toffees will successfully entice the former Brighton manager to choose them over the East London outfit.
