Beto transfer: Everton make new monster requests after green light
Everton may have scuppered a deal to sell Beto to Torino due to their monster demands, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The Italian outlet claimed (8 January) that the Turin-based club had decided to look towards other targets after the Blues refused to listen to offers below £16.6million.
The report states that the 26-year-old had given the green light to the move because he would play a leading role in the side.
The Toffees striker was pictured in Manchester Airport earlier this week but a report later emerged that he had not been in Turin as speculated. [Orazio Accomando]
Everton should sell Beto
The Goodison Park club should lower their demands for the Guinea-Bissau forward and get him off the books as soon as possible.
Sean Dyche’s side have desperately struggled to score goals, with Beto, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Armando Broja combining for three goals in the Premier League this season.
That has led to the Blues sitting just 16th in the league, just one point above the relegation zone and has left Dyche on the verge of the sack.

The Toffees should let the Lisbon-born attacker leave the club and use the funds that they receive to buy a more potent striker, that can fire them to safety.
They must stay in the top flight this season with the move to the Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium next campaign.
To do that, they need goals, and the options right now are not providing that, they need a clinical touch if they are to have any chance of staying up.
In other Everton news, an update has emerged on a potential move for Jose Mourinho as the uncertainty over Dyche’s future continues.
