Dyche sack: Source shares Potter to Everton update as West Ham explore options
Everton are an “attractive prospect” to Graham Potter should they sack Sean Dyche with West Ham already looking at a contingency plan should he turn down the job at the London Stadium, according to the Daily Mail.
Via the news outlet’s print edition [8 January, pg66] it is said that West Ham have alternative options to explore should they fail to appoint Potter with the future of Julen Lopetegui under threat.
Everton are understood to be keen on the services of the ex-Chelsea boss and it is believed that the chance to work under the new TFG ownership is an “attractive prospect” for Potter.
Dyche is under increasing amounts of pressure to keep his job at Goodison Park and the availability of Potter could provide the telling factor on his future.
Everton must appoint Graham Potter
Under the stewardship of Dyche, the Toffees are regressing each and every week and until a change is made, that will remain to be the case.
However, Everton have a seemingly keen Potter waiting in the wings to work under the new ownership and if they don’t act now, they will miss out on an incredible candidate to lead the team forward.
Known for his attacking style of play and mouth-watering football at times, there appears very few people that would be such a good fit at Goodison Park as Potter and if the Friedkin’s don’t appoint him, it will be a decision they surely regret going forward.

Having been out of work since leaving Chelsea, Potter has all of the necessary attributes to showcase he could be the man to not only prevent a relegation but to also get the very best of what is largely a solid Premier League squad.
All eyes will be on the decision of the club in the coming days but for the greater good of Everton, one needs to be made imminently.
